Tips on travelling in New Delhi
◼ You can book autos/cans on Ola and Uber. For payment, it is preferred you choose “Cash” and provide either cash or direct UPI transfer to the driver’s account via QR code or mobile number (online payments through card, OlaMoney, etc. are not preferred, drivers might cancel). Most drivers accept UPI payments. Receipts will be needed for reimbursements.
◼ If you are traveling during peak morning and evening hours (9 AM-11 AM and 4-9 PM) from any of the railway stations/airport, please bear in mind that the cab/auto might get delayed due to traffic jams.
◼ Hindi is the most common language of communication.
◼ Please be careful of your belongings when traveling in crowded places like railways stations/ bus stands.
◼ Guests are encouraged to use online payment methods.
